Can I register without doing it over the website?

You can pick up an Entry Form from the Townsville Road Runners Saturday Runs, any local Townsville McDonald’s or download from the site and fax or post it through to us.

When and where do I receive my Race Pack?

Race Pack collection is mandatory for ALL entrants. This is held on Saturday before the race, at Tobruk Pool, The Strand from 11-4.

If I was to volunteer, what would I possibly be doing on the day?

There are a range of Volunteer positions available, from bag collection, to water stops and everything in between. If you would like to Volunteer, head to the Volunteer Registration Page and/or contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator!

What age do I need to be to volunteer?

Any age! We love all our volunteers no matter your age!

How can I get automatic updates?

What is the youngest age that can register?

Unfortunately you have to be at least 9 years old to race in our Juniors category.

Can we get a course map on the day?

Printed Course Maps will be available for collection on Race Pack Collection Day, as well as Event Day. Course Maps will also be available in our Official Program of Events on Saturday before the event, for download from the Course Maps section of the website and a large map will be blown up available for viewing at the event site.

What would you suggest we need on the day?

Comfy joggers, energy and your Race Bib which you would have collected in your Race Pack on Saturday.
Feel free to bring along some drinks to place at the Special Drink Stops if you are in one of the long runs!

Do you do refunds? If so, how can I get my refund?

Unfortunately, as we are a not-for-profit organisation and our funds we raise go to the Ronald McDonald House we do not do refunds.
If for some reason you are unable to run and are looking for a refund, contact the MTRF Office on 07 4751 6607 and the girls can help you with alternative options.

Where and when will the presentations be held?

Presentations are held on Sunday after all the Races on the Main Stage. We generally like to kick the presentations off at 10:30AM, however sometimes we tend to run a tad late making sure that all of the times of our winners and place getters are correct!

Are spectators welcome to come?

YES! We love for you to cheer on friends and family, or old mate from around the corner! In fact, you should make up a sign to encourage them as they finish off their long, hot, sweaty run!

Where will the registration desk be located?

Follow the signs under the big tent and you’ll find us. Or ask anyone of our friendly volunteers.

Can merchandise be purchased online? If not, how can I purchase merchandise if I miss out on the day?

Merchandise can be purchased at the time of registration or under the Merchandise tent at the event.

Will there be first aid available along the track?

Sure will!

Are pets allowed in the area?

Pets are allowed in the venue, however we ask for the safety of all of our registrations that pets are not run with during any of the races.

Will food be available?

Sure will! There is a variety of food stalls available for a post-race snack, as well as fresh fruit from Lamberts Produce available to all of our runners.
